Cinderella's dress with over 10 thousand crystals is real.

Cinderella continues to spin circles around in our mind and hearts, in                                                         a vibrant blue dress that puts a summer’s day sky to shame.

But now you can see the magical princess’s dress in a limited                                                       exhibition being held in London’s Leicester square.

Walking into the exhibition made by Swarovski, to show the costumes                                                         worn in the movie this year, you are immediately greeted with a giant                                                   interactive book, which tells the fairytale of Cinderella and her evil

step-sisters.

For any movie buff seeing the recreated settings for the movie is an amazing opportunity, however, most people are being hurried along by the little girls who are desperate to catch a glimpse of the real gems.

Terri Pattinson, 38, a single mother from London explained, “My 6 year old daughter Alice didn’t know I was bringing her here today, but now she knows the glass slipper and ballroom gown are in the next room, she can’t me through any quicker.”

“She’s always loved Cinderella, and when I heard this was here I had to bring her, especially after I found out they were the real costumes used in the movies.”

The costumes which all together have over 6 million Swarovski crystals sewn into them were designed by the cast members themselves.

Charles Langford, 28, a presenter for the exhibition, said, “The actors for the movie were asked to describe in their minds what they wanted their costumes to look like, and the magic happens and they are left with these incredible costumes.”

Langford went on to explain, “The glass slippers are so delicate and fragile that Cinderella wasn’t allowed to wear them in the movie, they had to digitally enhance them onto her feet, because the designers couldn’t risk any damage coming to them.”

Throughout the exhibition you can see the transformation of both the fairy godmother, as she turns from an old homeless lady into Cinderella’s very own fairy godmother.

You can then take a walk through the giant pumpkin which becomes Cinderella’s carriage to the ball when you exit.

As if all these isn’t reason enough to go see the exhibition, once you reach the end you can then have a picture taken, and the glass slipper is digitally put onto your foot.

You can become a princess for the day.

The tickets although free of charge must be booked in advance to guarantee entry, you can book your tickets here, but be sure to be quick as this exhibition is only here until the 10th April.
